Our Advising Center, located upstairs in the Jack Hunt Campus Center, is staffed with professional advisors and success coaches who specialize in helping students with first-year course selection, degree planning and helping them to make connections to our many college resources.
All students with 0-23 earned credit hours at CCC are required to see an advisor in the Advising Center prior to a new semester registration period. (There are some exceptions: Students majoring in Cosmetology/Esthetics, Basic Law Enforcement, or Fire Protection will see an assigned faculty advisor. Early College High School students see Karen Sweezy and all CCP students work with Student Services.) Once a student reaches 24 credit hours at CCC they will be transitioned to an assigned faculty advisor. Advisor assignments are based on the student’s primary major/program of study.
AVISO is ClevelandCC's Early Alert and Advising system which identifies struggling students as early as possible in order to offer assistance and services needed to help them achieve college success.

The College offers face-to-face tutoring in the fall and spring semesters in a variety of subjects. An online tutoring alternative called Smarthinking is also available to all students through Blackboard.
TRiO-SSS, located upstairs in the Jack Hunt Campus Center, is a program designed to provide academic development opportunities as well as grant aid to students who are currently receiving the Federal Pell Grant while motivating students to successfully complete a postsecondary education.
Student Life is alive and well on the campus of Cleveland Community College. Our students have the opportunity to participate in clubs and organizations, events, and other on-campus activities that will help them grow as a person, build new relationships, and have fun.
