Library Services for CCP Faculty

The Library Instruction Program exists to contribute to the mission of the College by designing and delivering information literacy instruction that is user-based, on demand, customizable, and remotely accessible.

The Library offers a variety of instruction to meet the needs of CCP students and faculty.

  • Classroom Instruction-These sessions are designed to introduce students to the Library’s services and resources or may be geared toward a specific course assignment. A librarian will come to your class at the local high school to provide this instruction. Contact Leslie Queen via email or phone, 704-669-4058 to set up a time.
  • Online Instruction- Presented as either Research Guides for a subject or specific course, these online resources group together items that may be useful to your students. We can make them geared more toward a specific assignment or more general in nature. We can also create tutorials to assist students in using online resources if needed. To request a research guide or tutorial please contact Lisa Trexler via email or phone, 704-669-4042.
  • Faculty Reserves-The Rose Library can place materials on reserve for your students and have them delivered to your local high school. Use the Faculty Reserves Request Form to place materials on reserve. You can email Lisa Trexler with any questions or concerns.
  • Faculty Reserves Request - You will find this form located in Etrieve. The Library will pull the items from the regular collection and deliver them to your high school campus.
