Please use your knowledge of how to search Library resources
to find information about the following economists: Adam Smith, Jean-Baptiste, John Locke, et al.
For this assignment, you are to research using at least ONE Library book out of a minimum of four resources. Your final submitted work will consist of 4-5 pages.
You may work with a partner or alone.
The content will consist of the following research questions:
- What was the contribution that this person made to the American Industrial Revolution?
- Name and explain at least three economic principles that we have studied that apply to this person.
- What is going on today with the company that this person founded?
- What criticism did this person take from business and social sectors?
- Conclude with a summary showing a positive economic statement.
Some contributors to the American Industrial Revolution that you may consider: Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Cornelius Vanderbilt, J. Pierpont Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Fredrick W. Taylor, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, W.K. Kellogg, George Westinghouse.

- One of your four sources must be a Library book.
