The ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is the entrance test given to prospective Health Sciences students at Cleveland Community College. The ATI TEAS exam is comprised of 170 questions, 20 of which are unscored pretest items. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of: Reading, Math, Science and English and Language Usage.
In order to be accepted into most of the Health Sciences programs at CCC, the TEAS exam must have been taken within the past 5 years. Students may transfer in official scores from other schools if they meet the above criteria. Students are recommended to aim for a score higher than 70 in order to be competitive for admission into the programs.
In order to be accepted into a program for the fall term the TEAS exam must be taken by the end of March of the desired year of entry.
After taking the TEAS test, you will receive your score. This score determines which Health Science programs you qualify for. Browse the links on this page to see the Subject Guide and/or Toolkit. Remember some programs require an additional application due at earlier times.
