Accessing Resources

As a CCC student, you have access to books, eBooks, databases which include journals, and videos/dvds with your C Card.

Books can be checked out for 3 weeks at a time. You may check out up to 10 items. You may also place a hold on a books or request an Interlibrary Loan. Late fees on books are $0.05 a day.

DVDs can be checked out for 2 days. If overdue the late fee is $1 a day.

C Card

The C Card is the official identification card of CCC.  Students must show their C Card to check out

     Library resources and to attend SGA sponsored events.

You may obtain your C Card at Rose Library. 

You will need to:

  • bring a photo id such as your driver's license  

  • be prepared to have your photo taken.

If your card gets lost or stolen, it may be replaced at a cost of $5.00. Cash only accepted.

Apps Panel

The Apps Panel is the first page you see when you log in from the CCC homepage.  It houses all the apps you need as a student at CCC to contact instructors, complete coursework and to view important information about your account.

Accudemia Tutoring - make and manage tutoring appointments

Aunt Bertha - find community resources to help with food, housing, transportation, etc.

Blackboard - online class information platform

Campus Printing - find your printing code and balance in order to print on campus

CCC Punch Alert - emergency notification system

MyCleveland - registration, class schedules, drop or add class

NC LIVE - list of accessible databases

Office 365 - Microsoft Office Suite that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Notebook, etc. Can be downloaded to your personal     

     computer

SafeSchools for Students - free online training in safety

Self Service - access to Student Finance/Financial Aid and CCC course catalog

Zoom - allows you to access Zoom meetings

Study Rooms

What are study rooms?

Study room are spaces designed for current students, faculty and staff to work collaboratively without disturbing other users in the library.

Each room includes:

  • white board

  • computer with LCD TV monitor

Some rooms also have:

  • Extron Panel with VGA, 3mm audio and HDMI connections for connecting your own equipment

  • DVD player

Rules & Guidelines

  • Rooms should be used for school related purposes only.

  • Rooms can be reserved for two hours. If no one has reserved the room after the appointment, the time may be extended.

  • Study Rooms are NOT soundprrof.  Noise should be kept to a minimum.

Reserving a Study Room

To reserve a study room, current students may speak with a librarian or librarian assistant at the Library Support Desk either in person or by calling 704-699-4024.

Please be aware that study rooms may not be available for last minute reservations.
