Course Accessibility Checklist: Colors & Contrast

Choose text foreground and background colors to enhance readability.

All documents, websites, and course sites (Blackboard) should have adequate color contrast between the foreground (text and graphics) and the background. Sufficient contrast is necessary for both low vision and colorblind users of the information.

To check your content against the WCAG 2.0 criteria try the Colour Contrast Analyzer and  Accessibility Colour Wheel.
