Rose Library - Cleveland Community College

I have a student who needs a note taker. What do I do?

The instructor is responsible for ensuring that the student is provided with notes.  Many instructors will either ask another student if they would be willing to make copies of their notes for the student.  A good practice is for the instructor to place notes on Blackboard for all students.

How do students request accommodations?

To receive any academic accommodation, any student must be appropriately registered with Disability Services at CCC.  The instructors will be notified by email as soon as it is determined that a student who qualifies for accommodations is in one of their classes.  Information for students requesting accommodations can be found in the Disability Services Office at CCC.

How do I get my videos captioned?

For information on how to get your videos captioned, see the Captioning page on the Rose Library's Faculty Resources tab.
