The Web Attendance Tracking module allows faculty and staff to track student attendance for scheduled membership hour classes and contact hour classes through a web interface. This also allows state auditors to view any attendance rosters needed when conducting an audit.

North Carolina state auditors require evidence of participation in online courses. In order to comply with state audit requirements, Cleveland Community College requires students to complete the orientation quiz or another graded assignment by the 10% point of a course. The Blackboard Grade History report tracks and displays student activity in a course, including the date of attempted assignments. Instructors of all online courses are required to send this report to the Office of Academic Programs for each online course.
